Ahhhh..what a beautiful time of the year. Despite the fact that it is snowing/raining outside and pretty cold, it is also the first day of spring! It does not feel like it is the first day of spring. Another exciting thing is that I am on spring break. Most people think spring break and want to go to an island, Florida, or somewhere warm.
Do not get me wrong, I would love to go away on a tropical vacation, but it is also the first weekend of March Madness. What better time for March Madness to start, then during my spring break! Ideally, I would prefer to watch the games on my computer on the beach or somewhere warm, but I would choose a weekend of March Madness anyday. Games after games after games! Who can ask for anything better than that?
I just finished watching the No. 6 Notre Dame knock off No. 14 Stephen F. Austin. What a game that turned out to be and now I am on to the next one- VCU and Oklahoma State with Naismith POTY finalist Buddy Hield. I know many peoples' brackets are already busted. For me, I just love the upsets, emotion,and passion behind each game. I have not chosen a specific team that I am rooting for to win, I like to choose as the tournament progresses. Time to get back to the game!! :-)
