The World Cup has ended it's a little over a month-long tour around North America and now we were waiting for all the new things going on in sports. With seasonal shifts and the tournament ending, there are plenty of things coming out way over the next couple of weeks.
Headlines to Keep an Eye On
The MLB Trade deadline is August 3rd with players such as Tarik Skubal, Mason Miller, Byron Buxton, and Luis Arraez are among the names gaining the most talk of being traded.

For the WNBA, the playoff race resumes heading into All-Star Weekend. Caitlin Clark, MVP candidates, and teams battling for postseason seeding are expected to be major discussion as the season continues.

Fun Fact: The 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain is where the infamous Dream Team played which consisted of NBA legends Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Patrick Ewing, and Scottie Pippen. Led by Check Daly, the team took home the gold medal that summer and established them as one of the greatest teams to ever play on the court.
