About Renee P Washington

Renee Washington is a Division 1 three-time All-American Soccer player working as sports reporter, model, small business owner, motivational speaker, and an author. Follow Renee on her journey!


Welcome and thanks for checking out this page on Renee Washington! Renee is many things! She works with ESPN covering men's and women's college athletics as an analyst and sideline reporter. She also works for Fox Sports covering the Washington Mystics and the Washington Wizards. She hosts a live weekly digital show, Beyond the Headlines with Renee Washington on Fox Sports Radio. Additionally, she is a fill-in anchor for the Philadelphia Union games where she hosts the pregame, halftime, and post game shows.

She has been fortunate to wear many hats. She works as a model and author with some big projects in progress. Renee has launched her own businesses. 

In December of 2020, she launched an organization "Planted, Not Buried" focused on providing a supportive, inspiring network for professionals. PNB focuses on the concept that we have not been forgotten, rejected, or failed but have actually been planted as we prepare to step into our winning season. The organization holds regular virtual networking events, with more exciting opportunities for growth and collaboration coming in the future.

In April 2020 she launched an interior design company around her hobby of decorating called "SPACE by Design"





Renee is a former three-time all-American soccer player at LaSalle University. She helped lead her team to its first-ever conference tournament championship and NCAA tournament appearance, graduated with two A-10 championships and three NCAA appearances. Renee is currently the second highest points holder in women's soccer program history for goals and assists. She also played professionally with SkyBlue FC for a short time before hanging up her cleats to pursue her master's degree and coach women's soccer at Lehigh University. While at Lehigh, she worked in the Sports Media department covering games and creating media content for the athletics website. Additionally, she has received on-camera script reading experience, runway work, and modeling work with Image International, a modeling agency in the Lehigh Valley that worked with personalities such as Amanda Seyfried. Did you know?

Renee's love for sports started as an athlete long before her days as a reporter, model, author, and speaker. She was a three-time All American at La Salle  as a two sport athlete (soccer and track). Renee finished with 40 goals, 21assists to sit at #2 in La Salle Women's Soccer history for points and goals. She also was voted a NCAA Women's Top 50 Student-Athlete in 2014. Renee also played basketball growing up.
