• After months of hyping up the return of Conor McGregor to the UFC, the fight ended miserably when McGregor attempted a flying kick towards his opponent, Max Holloway, and hurt his right knee. 

• The 2026 MLB Home Run Derby had Jordan Walker of the Cardinals come out on top with 31 home runs and Kyle Schwarber fell 1 home run shy of winning in his city. 

• The ALS All-Stars won the MLB All-Star game against NLS with a score of 4-0. 

Fun Fact: Back in 1978, Reggie Jackson fought the NY Yankees manager in the dugout after he refused to bunt which eventually led Martin to suspend Jackson—a crazy event in sports that took place nearly 50 years ago.
