A look at what happened this week at Renee Washington Media & Consulting.

🎙️ Sports Broadcasting & Media

This week included live college soccer coverage as Temple Men’s Soccer took on Missouri State on Sunday, September 20. The broadcast provided an opportunity to highlight live sports production and media coverage surrounding Temple Athletics.

Looking ahead, Temple Men’s Soccer will return to the field on Saturday, September 26, for a 7:00 PM ET matchup against Charlotte.

🎤 Speaking, Hosting & Events

This week included several opportunities focused on relationship building, networking, and creating meaningful experiences within the sports and business industries.

On Tuesday, September 22, RWMC was part of the Fanatics Women’s Apparel Dinner at DanDan Rittenhouse. The small group dinner brought together six women to provide direct feedback on women’s apparel, products, and the female fan experience.

On Wednesday, September 23, the Fanatics Philadelphia experience continued with a Leadership Visit and Phillies Suite Experience from 4:00–7:00 PM ET. The evening combined relationship building with Fanatics leadership and a hosted Philadelphia Phillies game experience.

💼 Inside RWMC

This week highlighted RWMC’s continued involvement in sports media, brand experiences, and relationship building across the Philadelphia sports community. We also welcomed three new Interns to join our team and we are so excited to welcome them.

The Fanatics events provided opportunities to share perspectives on the women’s sports and fan experience while connecting with industry leaders and professionals. These experiences reflect RWMC’s work at the intersection of sports, media, business, and community.

📸 Behind the Scenes

One of the highlights of the week was being part of the Fanatics Philadelphia experience. From a small group dinner focused on women’s apparel and the female fan experience to connecting with Fanatics leadership and attending a Phillies game, the week provided opportunities to learn directly from industry professionals and build meaningful relationships.

💡 What We Learned This Week

This week reinforced the importance of listening directly to fans and understanding their experiences. Conversations around women’s apparel and the female fan experience can provide valuable insight into how brands can better connect with their audiences.

The Fanatics leadership experience also highlighted the value of relationship-building and creating opportunities for meaningful conversations within the sports industry.

👀 Looking Ahead

Next week, RWMC will continue its sports media and broadcasting work with Temple Men’s Soccer vs. Charlotte on Saturday, September 26 at 7:00 PM ET.

RWMC will also continue building connections and creating opportunities across sports, media, business, and fan engagement.
