This week at Renee Washington Media & Consulting was all about preparation, relationship building, and laying the groundwork for an exciting month ahead. While much of the work happened behind the scenes, each project moved us one step closer to upcoming speaking engagements, new partnerships, and continued growth.

🎤 Speaking, Consulting & Client Work

As August picks up, we continue investing in current client relationships while preparing for several major projects ahead.

• Continued developing materials and presentations for the upcoming Cencora workshop.

• Began work with new client Brooklyn FC as we prepare to support the organization through this new partnership.

• Held client strategy meetings and planning calls to support ongoing projects.

💼 Inside RWMC

This week also focused on continuing to build the team and systems that support RWMC's growth.

• Welcomed a new team member to RWMC as the team continues to grow.

• Continued onboarding and training interns.

• Advanced Asana projects and recurring workflows.

• Refined internal systems, communication templates, and operating processes.

• Expanded and organized the RWMC Brand Asset Library and evergreen resources.

📱 Marketing & Content

Our marketing efforts remained focused on staying ahead while continuing to create valuable resources for our community.

• Planned and scheduled August content across social media platforms.

• Continued planning upcoming newsletters.

• Edited and organized content from July events.

• Developed additional speaker marketing materials and educational content.

🤝 Business Development

This week, RWMC welcomed two new clients as we continued building relationships and developing new opportunities. These new partnerships add to the momentum behind the business and open the door for exciting work ahead.

• Secured two new clients and began laying the foundation for these new relationships.

• Reconnected with contacts from WNBA All-Star Weekend, The Female Quotient, and other networking events.

• Scheduled introductory meetings with prospective clients and partners.

• Continued conversations around future speaking engagements, consulting projects, and strategic partnerships.

📸 Behind the Scenes

This week reinforced that growth doesn't always happen in the spotlight. Welcoming a new team member, bringing on two new clients, strengthening internal systems, and preparing for major projects are all signs of what's being built behind the scenes. Each of these steps creates more capacity for RWMC to serve clients, pursue new opportunities, and continue growing.
