Fun Fact: On May 19th back in 1962, Stan Musial became the National League’s all-time hits leader by hitting his 3,431st career hit off LA Dodgers pitcher Ron Perranoski. He broke Honus Wagner’s record after he was the 2nd player at the time to reach 3,000 hits.
