Meet The Team of Renee Washington Media & Consulting (RWMC): SEAN MUSIAL

Let’s get ready to meet the team! Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be introducing this ever-so growing team that Renee has been building. Strap on your seatbelts and get ready to know the young minds of the students and graduates that have hopped on board. 

Sean Musial

This past April, Sean Musial joined the team as head of written content. Throughout the past month and a half, he’s been writing articles on Renee’s website through her blog: https://www.reneepwashington.com/. Recently, Renee has also joined the world of Substack, and those articles are also being uploaded to there. 

Here’s what to know about Sean: 

• He’s an attendee of LaSalle University who is going into his junior year and resides in the Northeast Philly neighborhood. 

  
  

• He’s the upcoming managing editor for the LaSalle Collegian and is a part of the advisory board of the Philadelphia Student Press Association (PSPA). 

  
  

• Fun Fact: He’s an aspiring author and screenwriter, working every day to master his craft; he has completed a manuscript and has multiple projects he’s working on. 

The Work

Sean writes the newly ongoing series the WEEKLY ROUNDUP that gives the reader an insight on what they may have recently missed and what lies ahead for the remainder of the week. The series also gives some fun facts, quotes to boost motivation, and allows audiences to see things that Renee does to help people grow professionally.

Another series he has started is ICYMI (In Case You Missed It). In each of these articles, he summarizes an event or things that Renee was a part of into an easily digestible read. 

One of the most important things Sean has been doing is the monthly newsletters he started with in May and followed it up with the most recent one for June. With part of Renee’s workload being a consultant for people to help better their careers, Sean also helps the crafting process of some of her workbooks. 

The Knowledge

Throughout his time working with Renee so far, Sean has learned a lot about the world of broadcasting and the world of covering all things sports…even it is from the sidelines. Learning to keep everyone up to date while bringing it all back to the message that Renee is always trying to convey is something that he’s excited to continue to do for the rest of the summer and grow in his craft of writing.
