ICYMI: FIFA Fan Festival Philadelphia

🏙️PHILADELPHIA, PA🏙️

With the World Cup coming to Philadelphia, a festival has also arrived to celebrate the groundbreaking tournament and has allowed fans from all walks of life to engage with the games surrounded with the same, like minded. 250,000 people have already attended and experienced firsthand what the event had to offer! Renee has partnered up with Visit PA and Philadelphia Soccer where she acted as emcee for Pennsylvania Day.

THE ENVIRONMENT

The entertainment venue that has been created is immense, backed up by the Philadelphia skyline and the Schuylkill River. It features large screens, music stages, food vendors, public art, and the open spaces of the park it is located at. The culture developing around this unique viewing method is what is gravitating people towards it. Go check it out back there seems to be something there for everyone!

THE FANS

The fans are what truly brings this all together—hence the name. And it really does live up to that name. The diversity present throughout allows for the families, friends, students, groups, and the hardworking individuals of the city to kick back and take the entirety of the World Cup, minus the hassle of getting into the stadium. Seeing jersey’s, flags, face paint, and celebratory merchandise shattered emphasizes everything it was meant to bring out in the community

THE IMPACT

The job was to keep the people engaged with the tournament; it did very much that. Some will come out the other end of this North American World Cup remembering the time they spent at the festival watching these games.
