World Cup Storylines to Watch

  1. With Lionel Messi already having won the World Cup with Argentina in 2022, he's able to play freely in 2026, in what could be his final World Cup. Check out Fox Sports’ article to read how Messi became the World Cup’s all-time leading scorer.



  1. Cristiano Ronaldo has created a legacy for himself as a goal scorer with almost 1,000 career goals. After a slow start in Portugal’s game against DR Congo, Ronaldo looked like his usual self, scoring two goals in Portugal’s game versus Uzbekistan.   1. As host countries, it’s great to see that USA and Mexico are having early success in the World Cup. USA and Mexico have already clinched their spots in the Round of 32.
