About Sean: The New Head of Written Content

Hi! I’m Sean Musial. I am currently heading into my junior year with a Major in Media & Journalism. 

I have decided to join Renee because of the full-frontal experience that goes along with her work. My dad heard of her before I applied. When I did my own research, I thought I would be dumb if I didn’t take the opportunity, even if I’m on the sidelines. 

Even by saying that, the art of writing and storytelling has always been my passion—a thing I’ve always understood and yearned to get better at. To keep that passion running, I joined the La Salle Collegian Newspaper and Philadelphia Student Press Association. Next semester I’ll be taking over the role of managing editor for the Collegian. 

The storytelling that goes into sports is always changing. Game after game, month after month, season after season, something new is always ready to be shared. I want to be able to convey what’s happening with a bit of fun energy to go along with it!

I’m looking forward to the next few months helping Renee and her message of keeping people updated on her work life and the world of sports around us. The blogs will give me the creative freedom to express the message and stories with my own voice. A great opportunity for anyone to have. 

The world of sports is as complex and face paced as any other. Having Renee guide me through will help me see how the ins-and-outs of the industry works. The creative freedom gives me a chance to help her platform grow, while also allowing me to grow right next to her. Here’s to the journey ahead!!
