Villanova Looks to Remain Perfect in the Big East

Villanova moves to 15-2 on the season and 5-0 in the conference with a recent win over Marquette. The Wildcats face the Georgetown Hoyas today in a match up for first in the Verizon Center. The Hoyas are 4-1 in conference play, 11-6 overall. The game airs on CBS nationally with Bill Raftery and Kevin Harlan commentating the action. Villanova voices, Ryan Fannon and Whitley Rigsby will be commentating for the Wildcats on 610 Sports Radio WTEL.

On Wednesday, the Wildcats clinched their 20th straight Big East victory over a Marquette team that just never seemed to go away. Kris Jenkins led all scorers with 20 points. Jenkins and teammate Josh Hart, both played high school basketball in the greater D.C region. Jenkins received the Washington Post D.C. Metro Player of the Year his senior year and Hart was a standout at Sidwell Friends School. On Wednesday, Georgetown defeated St. John's 93-73 at Madison Square Garden.
